'Los rios de color purpura' is a Spanish drama film that was written and directed by Mexican actress Gael García Bernal. Manchin is running for reelection against Republican Patrick Morrisey, a former Justice of the West Virginia Supreme Court, who has been endorsed by Trump. Manchin is the only Democrat in the West Virginia Senate who won in a statewide election in 2016.
Manchin's campaign has also been looking to benefit from Trump's unpopularity in the state, which has long been considered a swing state. Manchin previously ran for governor in 2014.
According to the West Virginia Senate website, Manchin has one of the highest net approval ratings of any U.S. senator, with a majority of West Virginians approving of his job performance.
Manchin's campaign is expected to hold events in Charleston, Morgantown, Wheeling, Huntington, and Beckley.
